But when the state is broke, schools are laying off teachers (and it's just going to get worse next year, "experts" predict), something sadly has to give.
We brought home a brownish/gray Holland (Dutch) lop eared bunny from the fair and named her Heelie b/c her lop ears are kinda cr
ooked like a cockeyed helicopter.
The dogs are having a hard time adjusting to Heelie's presence, especially Riley. Izzy (pictured) is doing a little better, but I think they might think these little guys are tiny puppies to play w/.
Addy plans on taking care of her. She talked with a veterinary student named Nick who talked about the Vet Med program at MSU - he got his B.S. in Microbiology and then was the MSU Vet Med program accepted him into their 4 year program. So it looks like Addy has got eight years of college ahead of her if being a vet is something she wants to do! Nick suggested that she volunteer at a vet clinic first to see if it's really something she really wants to do.
School starts for all of us on Tuesday. It's been a great summer with lots of cool new experiences including the voice-overs (which Karen and I helped out with the 3rd episode last Sunday - I was the "Flunky", "Radio Announcer", and "Car Alarm"). The 4th episode of Maglenda's Errand Girls will record in a couple of weeks. I was tickled to see how Addy and Shannon, the girls who play polar opposites main charactes Indigo and Kirsten, get along so well.
Addy will also audition for another play soon. We'll let you know if she makes it.
