5 stories that I made in 4th grade

Hello Everyone!! My dad told me that I should type up my stories that I made in 4th grade. I made 5. My first one is a Fantasy story. It's called Evee and the Purple Dragon.

Evee was doing her Social Studies homework when she stopped to think. Then she noticed the picture of her twin sister, Espeon. Evee and Espeon were unique girls. They both had yellow and green eyes. One day Espeon disappeared. But no one found her. Suddenly Evee heard a sound. Evee rushed outside just in time to see a red dragon flying away. Evee looked around. There was a purple egg resting peacefully in a bucket full of hay only a few inches from her. Evee saw a note on the egg. The note said:

Dear Evee,
Take this rare dragon and treat it with care.

"Hm. This handwriting looks so familiar." thought Evee. Evee continued reading the letter.

Feed it and make sure that nobody sees or knows about your new dragon. I love you! I'm up in the clouds. Love, Espeon

"Espeon!! She's alive!!" exclaimed Evee. Suddenly the egg shoke and out popped an irrestible adorable baby purple dragon. "Oh how cute!" exclaimed Evee.
"Did you say something dear?" asked her mom as her head popped out of her window all of a sudden.
"No Mom," replied Evee who was trying to hide her new purple dragon.
Her mom put her head back inside.
"Phew!" said Evee. "That was close wasn't it?" asked Evee as she turned around to see that her purple dragon wasn't there anymore. "Wait no don't eat that!" yelled Evee as her new purple dragon gulped down the bucket and the hay that it arrived in. "You need a name! I'll call you Spyrot!" exclaimed Evee with a happy expression and a worried expression on her face. "Wait! Where am I going to put you?" wondered Evee as the expression on her face lit up. She looked around her back yard until her eyes came across tree house. "I know my tree house!" exclaimed Evee.
2 months later....

"I'm impressed that you can talk now!" exclaimed Evee happily as she stroked Spyrot.
"So you just noticed? Oh well thanks Evee. Come. We must fly to your sister. We're here." said Spyrot.
"But that was only 10 secononds!" exclaimed Evee.
"It was only above the clouds!" replied Spyrot.
"Oh. Where is............. woah," said Evee.
"Evee! Welcome to Dragon World!" exclaimed Espeon happily. "Come inside!" said Espeon as she lead her sister and her dragon into the castle. Inside the castle it was all diffrent shades of blue and glitter. For the next three months Evee had to learn wizardry and witches magic. Evee had to learn this so she, Espeon, and Spyrot could fight in the war. They were fighting agianst the Razac for freedom. They were also trying to save Cynder (Sin-der) who is Spyrot's cousin. Cynder is ruling the Razac because her master, Webster, knew that the dragons had the Dark Orb. If the Dark Orb is given to Cynder she'd become more powerful than any other dragon! So Webster went to war to steal the Dark Orb from the dragons. Before the war started Evee and Espeon put on some armor. It wasn't heavy. Right before the war started holding their swords in front of them both twins exclaimed,"We will fight to win!" Crash!Bang!Fire!Earth!Electricity!Ice!Dark! Before the war ended Evee had fell in unconscious. When Evee came to Espeon told that she broke her arm. (Evee and Espeon had transported back to earth as soon as the war was over) After Evee's arm had healed both twins spent more time with each other longer then they ever had. Evee and Espeon got new dragons. (I didn't mention them getting new dragons because before they transported back to earth Cynder gave Espeon two eggs as a thank you for saving her and she was sad that Spyrot died.) ( No one knows why or how Spyrot died) Evee took the purple egg, which looked like Spyrot's egg and Espeon took the black egg. Evee named her dragon Spyrot Jr. and Espeon named hers Cynder Jr. because Evee's new purple dragon looked like Spyrot and the same thing with Espeon except that hers looked like Cynder. The good news is that they didn't have to keep their dragons a secret because after the war Dragons started to exist on earth and now helped everyone. (Even Santa!!) and now everyone who was alive wondered what their futures would be like. The End

I hope you like the story! I changed a lot from the original story. See ya until next time!

Izzy at Home

Izzy is home - finally. After a long wait, I went to pick her up Wednesday evening, July 9th, and we spent a few days just hanging out, potty training (her, not me!), chewing on sticks in the back yard (again, her, not me), and just having a grand old time getting up at 5:30 a.m. Riley has been an amazingly gentle big sister - we didn't expect her to be anything less - and this just reinforces our impression of Riley as a candidate for the Greatest Dog in the World. If there isn't an award like this, there should be.
When I initially brought Izzy home Wednesday night, she was petrified. By nature, she seems like a very cautious pup, but with Riley, she'll be able to explore her backyard and the house and our neighborhood and feel much more comfortable.
Izzy is also a very strong and resilient dog. She was trying to drag the mat that the full water bowl was on in the kitchen. Also, tumbles and spills don't phase her. She was leaping all around the backyard on the first day. Faceplants, tumbles, rolling around, getting swatted by or rolled over on by Riley, or falling into the pool - she took it all in stride.

We read Superpuppy by Daniel Pinkwater and The Art of Raising a Puppy by the Monks of New Slete (which is New York somewhere) who have made a reputation for raising great German Shepherds. These books were pretty helpful in correcting some of the mistakes we made with Riley and her potty training.
And, at the end of all those periods of play, this is where she ends up. All zonked out.

Pink is Izzy Grace!

Well, when we brought Riley over to see the puppies on the 4th of July, we had our heart set on the puppy with the red yarn around her neck. When we got there, that's a whole different story.

Riley was besieged by Yellow and Orange who wanted to feed on her - like their mom. Red showed little to no interest in Riley - even when alone - and wanted to sit on Riley's head when she did show and interest. Pink was the only one who came up to Riley, and was the first one, to come up to her and sniff her as if she was ready to play.

Afterwards, Pink (Izzy) ran up to Karen and Addy with a big smile.
And she gave Addy a little kiss.
P.S. Aunt Sharon called it - the dog would pick us. Kelsey picked me back in 1994, and sure enough, Izzy had found her new home w/ us.
She's home now, and I'll put a new post up this weekend about her progress.
